This site is all about giving the cyclists of North East Lincolnshire a place to air opinions, to make suggestions for improvements, to raise issues (for instance concerning accidents or near-misses) and to share our cycling styles and fashions (cycling chic).

NE Lincs can be a place of cycling excellence. There is a growing interest in cycling as more and more people re-awaken to it’s benefits and enjoyment, and if we make our voice heard sufficiently then hopefully the local council will start to prioritize cycling for the benefit of the whole area!

I’ve cycled the streets and lanes of NE Lincs since I was a toddler. I commute to work by bike and cycle around town whenever possible, racking up approximately 1600 miles a year in the process. I passionately believe that cycling can play a major role in improving the health and well-being of people of all ages. Cycling should be cool, fashionable and safe, as well as being the best way to get around town. It’s fun, healthy, good for the environment and your wallet! And by building world class, Dutch-style infrastructure it can become the mainstream form of transport in our area. Why not?
